Adult Learn-to-Row
Are you new to rowing and want to get in a boat? You're in the right place! NORC offers group lessons each spring, summer, and fall. We also offer private lessons on an as-available basis.
*Note: Participants must be able to swim 100 yards in any style and float for five minutes unassisted. Due to equipment weight limitations, participants must be under 240 pounds.
Adult Group Classes
You will learn the basics of rowing, potentially including both sculling (2-oared rowing) and sweep rowing (1-oared rowing) during these classes. At the end of the course, you will be ready to join NORC’s Masters team as a recreational or competitive rower.

What : Spring intensive - Five consecutive days (weather depending) to learn the skills required to move a boat proficiently, with the option to join NORC as a recreational rower upon completion!
