Our Prep Squad spends practices learning about the sport, safety, technique and building endurance. If you've played sports daily or never played at all, this program will help you build strength and endurance, culminating with the New Orleans Indoor Rowing Championship on January 31st.
Ages: For any 6th or 7th grader.
Cost: $150 for the season, includes race entry fees
Practices: Sundays 4-6pm weekly
WINTER SEASON IMPORTANT DATES:
Dec 7th: Start of Winter Season training
Dec 14th: Last day to join
Dec 28th: NO PRACTICE
Jan 31st: Indoor Rowing Championship @ St Georges on Magazine.
Jan 31st: Last Practice of the Season
Fall 2026 Information:
Our Prep Squad spends practices learning about the sport, safety, technique and building endurance. For anyone who has played sports daily or never played at all, this program will provide a sense of the pathway that anyone can find to spend time on the water while having fun in New Orleans.
Ages: For any 6th or 7th grader.
Cost: $200 for the season & included T-Shirt.
Practices: Sundays 4-6pm weekly
*With weather cancellations, water practices will be at the regular times at the Erg Room that day.
